Tutorial: beanie

Okay, so I've decided to do some tutorials on this blog since there's nothing much to talk about my life every week. I like to make things, and I thought maybe I should share it with you guys out there. This is a tutorial on beanies! Not just an ordinary beanie, it's a cat-eared beanie! Okay, so it's really adorable and I wanted to show you guys! I learnt to make an ordinary beanie from this tutorial on YouTube. Click here for that tutorial! But you know, I wanted to make it adorable (๑・⃙ᴗ・⃙๑)  and this is another method to make the circle yarn loom. This is what you'll need:

Cardboards, 2-3 yarns, a pack of bobby pins, tape or glue, scissors, yarn hook or something that can hook the yarn

With the cardboards, cut it into thin rectangles. Not too thin though! About 5 cm in width. The length does not matter. Continue cutting them and stick them together either with a tape or a glue. Make it like a crown on your head that fits. That is going to be the width of the beanie. It should look something like this:

Once that's done, stick the bobby pins around it either with a glue or a tape. I used tape because I didn't want to waste the pins! It should look something like this:

After that's done, just watch the video on YouTube. It'll teach you how to make a normal beanie. Stop at 10 min 30 secs if you want to make a cat-eared beanie. Continue if you want to make a normal one. I'll teach you how to make a cat-eared beanie. So basically, after you've looped the yarn securely, don't pull it. Just tie a knot to secure it. It should look like a tube that she was talking about.

Next, sew the side that you just tied the knot on and pull on it slightly to make a curve. It should look something like this:

Sew it to the direction of the arrow and then back. Tie a knot to secure it in place. Next, flip it inside out and pull on the two corners of the beanie to make it more cat-like. If there're any strands of yarn sticking out, tuck it into the beanie to hide it. And now you're done!

That's how it looks on my head! I folded the bottom part of it to make it more stylish! If it's too long for you, you can do that too. Anyways, how cute does it look? It's time consuming, but it's worth it! You can choose you own favourite colour to work with and it's pretty fun to do it too! I hope this helped. Share it with me on Facebook when you're done with it! I'll be looking forward to your end product! Goodbye :)

annoying people

⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩⋆✩

Why are humans so annoying? Why can't they stop judging others? Why can't they mind their own business? Like seriously, the world's getting worst each day. Humans don't know their limits. Do you know how it feels like to be judged by how you look? Bullying must stop. They're so many people every year committing suicide because of this. I literally cried when I heard a dreadful story from my friend about bullying. If you want to judge others, keep it to yourself. I'm sure the person knows it themselves and when you remind them about it, they will lose even more confidence in themselves. The world will definitely be a better place if we stop bullying from happening. Be in their shoe and you'll understand how they're feeling. They may seem alright in school, but they're probably crying or even cutting themselves at home. Be nice to them and change their perspective towards their life!

Appreciate the people around you while they're still here, cause when they're gone, you'll regret it and it's too late. I watched a YouTube video recently and my heart stabbed in pain when I heard that a person was never thanked in her entire life. Is it that difficult to appreciate someone's presence? Because I don't think so. It's not difficult to say those 2 words (thank you) to someone who has helped you. In fact, I'm sure it'll brighten up their day if you do!

Think before you act, and appreciate those who have helped you :)
Until next time, bye~
